Comparing two groups or conditions

This section contains the tests you can use to compare two sets of scores from simple quantitative research designs. They can determine if there has been an effect of manipulating an independent variable upon a dependent variable. Which you choose depends upon your research design, as well as the characteristics of the data you have gathered.
